Visionary Advocate Torine Creppy Named President of Safe Kids Worldwide

As Chairman of the Safe Kids Board of Directors, I am pleased to announce that, after an extensive nationwide search, Torine Creppy has been named the president of Safe Kids Worldwide.

Torine is the right woman at the right time for Safe Kids. I got to know and admire Torine when I was the Administrator of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Together we worked closely to keep kids safe in and around cars.

Preventable injuries from car crashes, fires, falls and more remain the number one cause of death to children in the U.S. and a serious problem around the world. Torine’s leadership has made, and will continue to make, a real difference for children and families.

Torine has been an indispensable part of Safe Kids for 19 years. In that time, her expertise and tireless work ethic have earned her the respect of her colleagues and peers in the injury prevention community.
