“Working in the business of preventing accidental childhood injuries, I am always reminded of Principle 2 of The Declaration of the Rights of the Child: ‘A child shall enjoy special protection, and shall be given opportunities and facilities, by law and by other means, to enable him/her to develop physically, mentally, morally, spiritually and socially in a healthy and normal manner and in conditions of freedom and dignity. In the enactment of laws for this purpose, the best interests of the child shall be the paramount consideration.’”
Sean is the ultimate multitasker, running the daily operations of our Washington, D.C., headquarters, as well as consulting on many of the projects and initiatives that are promoted throughout the organization to ensure that all of our children grow up safe. He has more than 10 years of experience working with nonprofits and in international program development. His passion is working with at-risk populations around the world focusing on the interconnection of access to adequate food, water and health care. Sean has a Master of International Affairs degree from The New School in New York.
