Clifford Takes A Walk Contest Rules

IMPORTANT

Please read these rules before entering this contest (the “Contest”). By participating in this Contest, you agree to be bound by these rules (the “Official Rules”) and by the decisions of Safe Kids Worldwide (“Safe Kids”), which are final and binding in all respects, and you represent that you satisfy all the eligibility requirements below.

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS CONTEST.

How to Participate

It is easy to participate. Tweet a photo of students in a classroom holding up pictures, with the text: “Safe Kids at (Name of School) #CliffordTakesAWalk.” One entry per classroom.

How is the Prize Awarded

The winners will be selected by random selection using random.org. Two WINNERS will be announced on Monday October 12, 2015, two WINNERS will be announced on Monday October 19, 2015, two WINNERS will be announced Monday October 26, 2015 and four WINNERS will be announced Monday November 2, 2015 through Twitter and announced on our Twitter page. The winners must respond with the address of the school to ship the prize to.

The Prize

Ten winners will each receive one box of 100 “Clifford Takes a Walk” books. Estimated value: $300.

Rules and Eligibility

Each classroom can enter only once. The prizes will be awarded through random selection. Contest is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States (the “U.S.”) and the District of Columbia. CONTEST VOID OUTSIDE THE U.S. AND WHERE PROHIBITED. Participants must be at least eighteen (18) years of age at time of entry. There is no entry fee. Employees of Safe Kids and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

IF YOU DO NOT MEET ANY OF THESE REQUIREMENTS, OR ANY OTHER ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS IN THESE OFFICIAL RULES, YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO WIN A PRIZE, AND SAFE KIDS RESERVES THE RIGHT NOT TO AWARD PRIZES TO YOU.

By participating in the Contest, you release Safe Kids Worldwide, and its parent company, affiliates, subsidiaries, sponsors and their respective officers, directors, members, employees, [and consultants] from any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, costs, expenses or losses to person (including death) and/or property to which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership, possession, use or misuse of the prize awarded hereunder, or arising out of participation in this Contest or any Contest-related activities. Entrants assume all liability for and risk of any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in this Contest or use or redemption of any prize. By submitting photographs to Safe Kids Worldwide in connection with this contest, you hereby grant Safe Kids Worldwide all rights and interest in and to such photographs, including but not limited the right to republish or otherwise print such photographs in on line and other media outlets. In connection with the foregoing, you further represent that you have obtained any necessary or required consents from the individuals depicted in such photographs authorizing you to grant such interest.

This Contest and these Official Rules will be governed, construed, and interpreted under the laws of the District of Columbia. Any legal proceedings arising out of this Contest or relating to these Official Rules shall be instituted only in the federal or district courts located in Washington, D.C., and the parties hereby waive any and all objections to jurisdiction and venue therein and hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdictions of those courts.

This Contest is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Twitter. Any information you provide in connection with this Contest is to Safe Kids Worldwide [and/or its sponsors/administrators] and not to Facebook.
