Safe Kids: In or On the Water

Spending time with family and friends at the pool, the beach or on a river or lake is a favorite summer activity. Wherever you get your water fix this summer, keeping an eye on kids at all times is essential to their safety.  We hope you’ll celebrate the season by reviewing and sharing Safe Kids boating safety and pool and spa safety tips.

Summer Meals and Safe Grilling

Cooking outside is one of the delights of warm weather and longer days.  While grilling can be a great alternative to cooking inside, did you know that the majority of all grill fires at home occur in the summer? These fires are preventable by taking some simple precautions. Follow these tips to make sure you keep you and your family safe when grilling.

Never Leave Your Child Alone In a Car

Earlier this month, two infants died from heatstroke when they were accidentally left behind in cars.  We hope you’ll honor these children and their families by joining the Safe Kids campaign to spread the word about what we all can do to prevent such tragedies.
