School Safety Committees

Safe Kids coalitions and FedEx volunteers work with school administrators, parents and other advocates to convene school safety committees.

The committees meet throughout the academic year to plan activities that reinforce pedestrian safety for children, enforce traffic laws in school zones and pursue changes needed to make school environments more pedestrian-friendly.

The result is a strong relationship among the school community, FedEx and Safe Kids.
