In 2012, SANUS and Safe Kids Worldwide teamed up to create a new multi-faceted partnership with the goal of educating parents and caregivers about the risk of unsecured TVs tipping in the home.

The commitment and generous support from SANUS allowed Safe Kids to conduct deeper research into the issue, which resulted in a new report entitled, “A Report to the Nation on Home Safety: The Dangers of TV Tip-overs.” This research informed a national awareness campaign to help prevent further deaths and injuries to children from television and furniture related tip-overs.

With the support of SANUS, Safe Kids launched a national program and awareness effort to inform and educate parents about how to properly secure televisions and furniture in the home to protect children from tipover injuries.
