We work to keep kids safe from fire. On average, one child dies each day from a fire or burn. By teaming up with firefighters and community leaders, we help spread fire safety messages in clinics, schools and with media.
Our programs keep medicines out of reach of children. Medications are the leading cause of child poisoning. Our coalitions host workshops, share tips and provide tools to help parents prevent accidental child poisoning.
We help babies sleep safely. Suffocation is the leading cause of injury-related death among babies under 1. We conduct research and do community outreach to educate families about sleep safety and distribute sleep sacks and cribs.
We help protect kids from TV tip-overs. Every 3 weeks a child dies from a TV tipping over. Through research and awareness programs, we reach families with lifesaving information to keep kids safe from TV and furniture tip-overs.
