General Motors
General Motors started working with Safe Kids in 1997 when the two organizations created the Safe Kids Buckle Up program. The partnership makes child passenger safety education and hands-on assistance available to families around the country so they can properly transport their children. With the support of General Motors, Safe Kids Buckle Up has evolved to include children’s safety in and around cars as well. Over the course of the partnership, Safe Kids coalitions and chapters have inspected over one million child safety seats and given educational support to more than 20 million parents and caregivers. General Motors is one of the world's largest automakers, manufacturing cars and trucks in 34 countries. GM employs people in every major region of the world, and sells and services vehicles in more than 100 countries.
