Dan Orzechowski

Senior Manager, U.S. Coalition Network

Dan manages nearly 100 coalitions in 15 states. In addition to monitoring coalition performance and ensuring compliance with Safe Kids Worldwide requirements, he offers technical support in coalition-building, lead organization relations, grant funding from headquarters and strategic direction. He, along with the other regional managers, represents coalitions’ interests, concerns and needs at Safe Kids on everything from program development to coalition requirements, and acts as a spokesperson to the network for Safe Kids.

Dan oversaw the 2005 revision of the Coalition Resource Manual, a comprehensive guide to developing and coordinating a Safe Kids coalition. He is the lead for development of the state office project, working with the seven states transitioning to the new model, and creating a plan to guide remaining states into the new state office model.

Dan graduated from St. Mary’s College of Maryland with a B.A. degree and is pursuing a master's in business administration degree from the University of Maryland Smith School of Business.
