Moira Lail
Chief Programs Officer, International
As the Chief Programs Officer, International, Moira is responsible for the organization and expansion of the 23-country Safe Kids Worldwide network. She coordinates multi-country initiatives and is the liaison to global partners such as the World Health Organization.
Moira is also responsible for the development and implementation of global pedestrian safety initiatives. She has been the pedestrian safety expert for the organization since joining Safe Kids Worldwide and has worked in the field of pedestrian safety for the past 10 years. Moira has appeared on international and national television and radio stations, as well as numerous local television and radio stations across the country. She also serves as the global corporate liaison to program sponsor, FedEx and develops relationships and sponsorship opportunities with the FedEx around the world.
Prior to joining Safe Kids in 2005, Moira worked for a multinational Fortune 100 company as an operations manager for six years and taught in inner-city schools in the United States for two years. Moira holds a B.A. from Villanova University, a M.Ed. from the University of Virginia, and a MBA from Johns Hopkins University.
