The School
School Name: To Be Determined
City: Mexico City
Number of Students: To Be Determined

The Issue
It is estimated that more than 20,000 lives are lost due to road traffic crashes in Mexico each year and of those, one third are pedestrians. Each day, more than six children die on their way to school. The poor infrastructure around many schools in Mexico City does not provide safe environments for children to walk to and from school safely.

The project
Safe Kids Mexico will partner with local stakeholders, including school administrators, parents and the police, to implement the Model School Zone project.
