The Issue
Safe Kids Seminole County has identified a number of challenges for children who walk to and from English Estates Elementary School. Crosswalks near the school are faded and parents are dropping off students at undesignated locations.

The project
Safe Kids Seminole County, FL is installing safety signage, lights and a high visibility crosswalk, restriping existing crosswalks, designing safer traffic patterns and implementing a walking school bus program. The goal of the walking school buses is to encourage more students to walk to and from school as a group with adult supervision.
