Latest NewsSafe Kids Israel Hosts National Convention on Child SafetyMarch 12, 2012 Safe Kids Israel/Beterem, hosted Israel’s first National Convention on Child Safety to make keeping kids safe a more important part of the public health agenda in Israel and around the world. The conference led to the establishment of a national comprehensive action plan to prevent accidental deaths nationwide by 2020. The Convention was held on February 15 at the Jerusalem International Convention Center and was attended by approximately 1,000 doctors, nurses, educators, engineers and safety experts to discuss establishment of child safety as part of the national agenda.
