Latest NewsSafe Kids China Launches Child Product Safety ProgramApril 11, 2012 In March, Safe Kids China launched a child product safety program with the theme, “Mom, Please Check before Giving to Me.” In partnership with SGS S.A., formerly known as Society Generale de Surveillance, the program focuses on toy and furniture safety and aims to reach 20,000 families and 30 kindergartens in Shanghai. Program components include kindergarten teacher training, parent lectures, and interactive education sessions. The program was featured on a popular micro blog during International Consumer Rights Protection Day on March 15. SFS volunteers and Safe Kids staff conducted one of the first educational activities for Liuyi Kindergarten School students and their parents on March 30.
