Latest NewsSafe Kids India: Walk This Way Expands to DelhiJanuary 23, 2010 Thanks to the generous support from FedEx Express, Safe Kids Foundation India collaborated with Dehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan to launch the Walk This Way program in Delhi on Oct. 29, 2009. School children, teachers, FedEx representatives, government officials and media participated in the launch. At the event, more than 100 young men and women took a pledge to be safe road users, to serve as role models on the roads and to promote road safety among their friends and families, particularly their younger brothers and sisters. The children demonstrated what they’ve learned by participating in the Walk This Way program through a play. School children also performed songs with theme of pedestrian safety.
