Nadji Kirby

Senior Program Manager for Domestic Road Safety

“I believe we all have a part to play when it comes to keeping children safe.  I’m excited to work for an organization where I can contribute and have a positive impact on the efforts to do just that.”

As part of the road safety team, Nadji manages the pedestrian, bike and rail safety programs at Safe Kids. She collaborates with partners, funders and coalitions throughout the United States to reach as many families as possible. Nadji has a wealth of experience in community outreach, community development, partnership building, youth engagement and community-based programming. In addition to managing the Safe Routes to School program for the Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MD), she also served as Co-Coordinator for that County’s Safe Kids coalition for several years.

The beginning of the school year can be overwhelming and exciting at the same time, both for kids and parents. As we all continue to keep ourselves as safe as possible during the pandemic, let’s not forget to remain vigilant in our efforts to stay safe while heading to and from school. Here are a few ways to make safety a part of your back-to-school plan.
