May 20, 2015 CPSC: Valor Athletics is voluntarily recalling its Olympic Weight Bench because the front leg of the frame can break posing an injury hazard. Units: 100
May 20, 2015 CPSC: Electrolux is voluntarily recalling its Kenmore Elite dual fuel ranges because of fire and burn hazards when the burner flame goes out allowing gas to escape. Product is exclusively sold at Sears. Units: 250
May 19, 2015 NHTSA: Takata is voluntarily recalling airbags used in 33.8 million cars because of airbags inflating with high force and propelling shrapnel into passengers. This is an expansion of an earlier recall. Automakers that are involved include: BMW, Chrysler, Daimler Trucks, Ford, General Motors, Honda, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Subaru and Toyota. Owners are strongly encouraged to determine whether their car is involved and seek to have the airbag replaced. In an easy two-step process, you can find out if your vehicle is affected by using NHTSA’s Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) search tool. May 18, 2015 CPSC: TenPoint Crossbow Technologies is voluntarily recalling its TenPoint and Wicked Ridge crossbows because of an injury hazard when the crossbows fire even after the safety has been engaged. Units: 127,000
May 12, 2015 CPSC: Mountain Safety Research is voluntarily recalling its Avalanche Rescue snow shovels because the locking device can fail in securing the blade, rendering it to be unusable for its emergency purpose. Units: 4730
May 12, 2015 CPSC: Cost Plus World Market is voluntarily recalling its Twist Swivel Stools because the seat can break causing a fall hazard. Units: 125,000.
May 12, 2015 CPSC: IKEA is voluntarily recalling its pressure-mounted safety gates (Patrull Klämma and Patrull Smidig) because its design does not allow the gate to be held in its intended position, posing a fall hazard. The lower metal bar can also cause someone to trip on the gate. Units: 75,000 in the US and Canada.

May 1, 2015 CPSC: IKEA is voluntarily recalling its Sultan and Vyssa crib mattresses because the gap between the mattress and crib ends is larger than allowed by federal regulation, which poses an entrapment hazard to infants. This expands an earlier recall. Units: 344,000 in the US and Canada.
