Tide and Safe Kids came together in 2015 with a mutual goal: teach parents about keeping kids safe around the laundry room and detergents, including liquid laundry packets.
This task precisely aligns with Safe Kids’ mission: preventing accidental injuries. We, alongside our nationwide network of Coalitions, are in touch with families on an everyday basis. We help families understand new ways to keep their children safe and happy.
Tide has demonstrated a commitment to helping parents and caregivers learn the correct use and safe storage of household cleaning and fabric care products. As a category leader, they are well positioned to make a positive impact on the many families who use their brands every day, helping to protect kids in the home.
Safe Kids and Tide’s partnership continues to grow each year. What started as a focused initiative which now spans the country, with Safe Kids coalitions addressing laundry packets in their home safety programming.

Since the beginning of the program, we have educated more than 554,700 parents and caregivers through safety classes and community events on how to keep their kids safe in the home. This is in addition to the people we have reached through our nationwide social media campaign and our regular communication on need to story household cleaning product away from children.
