Every five days a child is killed in a train collision — nearly every one of these tragedies is preventable.

Trains play an important part in our society by transporting people and goods, but too many kids are injured or killed on or around tracks.

If you are a parent or caregiver, please take advantage of the  resources in our “For parents and Caregivers” toolkit below to learn  more about rail-related injuries among children and how you can  keep your kids safe.

If you are an educator or community partner,  please take advantage of the resources in our “For Educators and  Community Partners” toolkit to help you raise awareness, educate  families, and keep kids safe from rail-related injuries.
