Start Safe Travel
In 2011 Safe Kids Worldwide is distributing 100 grants to Safe Kids coalitions to educate instructors at Head Start centers about child pedestrian, school bus and passenger safety. Participating coalitions will receive materials and a grant to train Head Start instructors and host a car seat check-up event for the families and caregivers of the Head Start center students. This grant is a collaborative initiative with the Safe Kids Buckle Up program. A national partnership between Safe Kids Worldwide and the National Head Start Association(NHSA) was also established in 2011. |
