Safe Kids New York

Safe Kids New York is led by Cohen Children’s Medical Center, a member of the Northwell Health, the largest health system in the state. As a level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center, CCMC strives to secure the safety of our youngest population. This requires a multifaceted approach to identify injury risks, generate action to minimize these risks and provide a means to actively protect children from injury. Based on the needs of our community, our coalition implements evidence-based programs, such as car-seat checkups and other educational programs to help parents and caregivers prevent childhood injuries.
