December 17, 2015 CPSC: Ace Bayou is voluntarily recalling its bean bag chairs because zippers on the chairs can be opened by children who can then crawl inside, get trapped and suffocate or choke on the chair’s foam beads. This recall was originally announced in August, 2014 and is now being reannounced due to a low rate of consumer response. Units: 2.2 million.

December 10, 2015 CPSC: Dollar Tree is voluntarily recalling its Assured burn relief gel because the packaging is not child resistant. The gel contains lidocaine, posing a poisoning risk if swallowed. Units: 325,000

December 30, 2015 CPSC: KTM North America is voluntarily recalling its Competition Off-Road Motorcycles because fuel can escape from the tank breather assembly under extreme riding conditions, posing a risk of fire and injury to the rider. Units: 550

December 30, 2015 CPSC: Origin 8 is voluntarily recalling its folding bicycles because the frame on the folding bicycles can break, posing a fall hazard. Units: 1,600

December 29, 2015 CPSC: Macy’s is voluntarily recalling its Martha Stewart Stainless Steel Cookware because the metal discs that cover the frying pan’s rivets can pop off and hit consumers, posing an injury hazard. Units: 121,000

December 22, 2015 CPSC: Breville is voluntarily recalling its pressure cookers because the sealing gasket can be inserted upside down on the lid and cause an unexpected release of pressure, posing a burn risk. Units: 35,600

December 22, 2015 CPSC: Victorian Trading Company is voluntarily recalling its tealight holders because the hole at the top of the product is too small allowing heat to build up and pose a fire hazard. Units: 1,000

December 17, 2015 CPSC: Focus Bicycles is voluntarily recalling its Izalco Max Bicycles because the steering tube can crack, posing a fall hazard. Units: 470

December 17, 2015 CPSC: Casablanca is volountarily recalling 43 models of ceiling fans because the motor and blades can separate (when operating in reverse mode) posing an injury hazard. Units: 30,000

December 16, 2015 CPSC: Skip Hop is voluntarily recalling its Moonlight and Melodies projection crib mobiles because the strap can break, posing an injury hazard to an infant in the crib. Units: 3,500

 

December 15, 2015 CPSC: Lithonia Lighting is voluntarily recalling its JHBL LED light fixtures because parts can break and allow the fixture to fall unexpectedly, posing a risk of injury from impact. Units: 6,500

December 15, 2015 CPSC: Kawasaki is expanding its voluntary recall of Teryx and Teryx4 recreational off-highway vehicles (ROV) because sticks or other debris can break through the vehicle’s floor board and protrude into the foot rest area, posing an injury hazard to the operator and front passenger. Units: 19,500, an additional 11,000 were recalled for the same hazard in July 2014, 7,000 vehicles were recalled for a different hazard in August 2012.

December 10, 2015 CPSC: Polaris is voluntarily recalling its RZR XP Turbo Recreational Off-Highway Vehicles (ROV) because the vehicles' oil drain line can leak, posing a fire hazard. Units: 2,230

December 10, 2015 CPSC: Polaris is voluntarily recalling snowmobiles because parts can crack and result in a loss of steering, posing a crash hazard. Units: 4,700

December 9, 2015 CPSC: Basler Electric is voluntarily recalling its electrical transformers because the circuit breaker in the transformer can fail to trip, posing fire and electrical shock hazards. Units: 11,900

December 9, 2015 CPSC: The Craftsman is voluntarily recalling its blower/vacs because the motor can catch fire, posing fire and burn hazards. Units: 74,000

December 8, 2015 CPSC: Jofran is voluntarily recalling its Boulder Ridge Dining Room Tables because a stress fracture can form in the table, posing an injury hazard. Units: 300

December 8, 2015 CPSC: Limoss is voluntarily recalling its lithium ion battery power packs because they can overheat, posing a fire hazard. Units: 2,500

December 8, 2015 CPSC: Technical Consumer Products is voluntarily recalling its LED lamps because water can enter the lamp in wet location applications, posing an electric shock hazard to the user. Units: 26,350 in the U.S. and Canada

December 3, 2015: Cost Plus World Market is voluntarily recalling its reading chairs because the chairs sold without front leg support blocks can bend or break, posing a fall hazard. Units: 2,700

December 2, 2015: North Central Industries is voluntarily recalling its Firework Fountains because the rear plug of the candle can dislodge while lit, posing burn and fire hazards. Units: 2,600

December 2, 2015: Felt Bicycles is voluntarily recalling its mountain bicycles because the carbon fiber seat posts can crack and break, posing injury and fall hazards to the rider. Units: 645
