This research report was an observational study that recorded the behaviors of 39,000 middle and high school students crossing the street in school zones, as well as 56,000 drivers during drop off and pick up. It reveals that school zones can be unsafe places for students. With teen pedestrian deaths on the rise, we need to do everything we can to protect kids on the move.
