Safe Kids Worldwide is excited to welcome our spring 2023 interns. National Poison Prevention Week (March 17-23) is a great time to add some simple safety tips to your parenting toolkit. Here are a few tips, resources, and videos to help keep your kids safe and also share with family, friends, and neighbors.
As parents, it is always a joy to watch our children run, jump, climb, and make new friends at the playground. It makes sense that our little ones enjoy the playground so much that they sometimes forget about safety and the possibility of injuries. So, as a parent it's important to be conscious of the injuries that may occur while they are playing. But don’t be alarmed. With active supervision and some basic safety tips, every day at the playground can be a walk in the park.
Safety Advocates Unite to Educate Parents on Steps They Can Work Into Their Routine to Keep Kids Safe at Home, at School, at Play, and on the Way

Partnership advances equity in child passenger safety and bike safety
Washington, DC – Safe Kids Worldwide and AAA’s Auto Club Group Foundation are proud to announce a new partnership to advance equity in child passenger and bicycle safety. The overall goal of the partnership is to educate families and provide car seats, booster seats and bike helmets to those that may not have access to these safety resources.

Washington, DC – Safe Kids Worldwide applauds the development of the U.S. National Water Safety Action Plan (USNWSAP), a comprehensive, first-of-its-kind roadmap released today to help put an end to one of the leading causes of preventable deaths for children.
The report is the culmination of a four-year-long effort by drowning prevention experts and organizations around the country, including Safe Kids, to provide a framework for a coordinated approach to address drowning.
