July 25, 2019 CPSC; Cycling Sports Group recalls its 2013-2016 model year Cannondale CAADX Cyclocross bicycles because the fork can break, posing a fall hazard with the risk of death and serious injury. The company received 11 incidents involving the product, one resulting in a fatality and 7 involving serious injuries. Units: About 9,700 (an additional 1,900 sold in Canada).

July 31, 2019 CPSC: Dorel Juvenile Group USA recalls inclined sleepers because infants can roll from their back to their stomach or side while unrestrained, or under other circumstances, causing a suffocation risk. Sold under the following product names: Eddie Bauer Slumber and Soothe Bassinet, Disney Baby Doze and Dream Bassinet. Units: About 24,000.

July 31, 2019 CPSC; London Bridge recalls sock and wrist rattle sets because the rattles sewn into the products can detach, causing a choking hazard. Units: About 7,500.

July 26, 2019 CPSC; Spansive Source recalls its wireless multi-phone chargers because metallic accessories attached to phones placed on the chargers can overheat while phones charge, posing a burn hazard. Units: About 950.

July 25, 2019 CPSC; Stokke recalls its Infant Steps Bouncers because it could detach from the Stokke Steps Chair, posing a fall hazard to the child in the bouncer. Units: About 5,400.

July 25, 2019 CPSC; Britax recalls its modified thru-bolt axles for use with BOB Jogging Strollers because the modified thru-bolt on the front wheel can fracture, allowing the wheel to detach from the stroller, posing fall and injury hazards to children in the stroller and adults operating the stroller. Units: About 200.

July 25, 2019 CPSC; H&M recalls its children’s pajama sets because the pajama sets fail to meet the flammability standard for children’s sleepwear, posing a risk of burn injuries to children. Units: About 9,000.

July 24, 2019 FDA; Herbal Doctor Remedies recalls all of its herbal drug products because they were marketed without FDA approval and manufactured outside of Good Manufacturing Practices.

July 24, 2019 CPSC; Trek recalls its Kickster Bikes because the steer tube clamp on the bike can break, posing a fall hazard to children. Units: About 11,560 (1,800 sold in Canada).

July 23, 2019 CPSC; The Boppy Company recalls its infant head and neck support accessories because the head support area can be overstuffed, causing the infant’s head to be tilted too far forward and posing a suffocation hazard. Units: About 14,000.

July 18, 2019 CPSC; Factory Direct Wholesale recalls its Folding Mattresses because they fail to meet the mandatory federal flammability standard for mattresses, posing a fire hazard. Units: About 2,500.

July 17, 2019 CPSC; Bodum recalls its Bistro Toaster because they can leak electric current when operating at the maximum normal temperature, posing a shock hazard to consumers. Units: About 2,400 (1,480 sold in Canada].

July 16, 2019 CPSC; K2 Sports recalls its VO2 S inline skates because the skate axle can become loose or a portion of the axle can sheer off during use resulting in a wheel separating from the skate’s frame, posing a fall hazard. Units: About 2,700 (740 pairs sold in Canada).

July 16, 2019 CPSC; VIVO recalls its Mount-PLAY5 speaker wall mounts because the ledge on the front of the speaker wall mount can loosen, allowing both the ledge and the speakers to fall and posing an injury hazard to bystanders. Units: About 2,400.

July 16, 2019 CPSC; Majestic Pure Wintergreen Oil recalled by Epic Business Services because the packaging is not child-resistant as required by the Poison Prevention Packaging Act, posing a risk of poisoning to young children if they ingest it. Units: About 11,580.

July 12, 2019 FDA; GE Healthcare recalls Giraffe and Panda i-Res Infant Warmers because the side panels can crack or break and allow infant to fall. There have been 338 complaints.

July 11, 2019 CPSC; Lidl recalls its Playtive Junior Wooden Grasping Toy because the wooden wheels can detach and release small parts, posing a choking hazard to young children. Units: About 300.

July 11, 2019 CPSC; Levelor recalls Two-Corded Custom Cellular Shades because the pull cords are joined by a non-breakaway cord connector, which poses a strangulation hazard for small children. Units: About 30,000.

July 11, 2019 CPSC; Lifetime Brands recalls Fitz and Floyd Nevaeh White Can Mugs because the mugs can crack or break when used with or exposed to hot liquids, posing burn and laceration hazards. Units: 150,000 (3,500 in Canada).

July 10, 2019 CPSC; Custom Molded Products recalls its Diverter Valve Caps sold with Master Spas hot tubs and swim spas, because the caps can come loose and pop off, posing an impact hazard. Units: About 16,000.

July 10, 2019 CPSC; Everbilt recalls its Stainless Steel Door Pulls because the pulls can have sharp edges on the back, posing a laceration hazard. Units: About 70,200.

July 10, 2019 CPSC; Bose recalls its EdgeMax and FreeSpace professional use flush and surface mount loudspeakers because their mounting components can break causing the speakers to dislodge and fall from its installed location, posing an injury hazard. Units: About 77,500.

July 10, 2019 CPSC; Winco recalls Cat Mobile Fireworks because when ignited, the device can burst and spread sparks and pyrotechnic materials upward and outward instead of on the ground as intended, posing explosion, burn and projectile hazards to bystanders. Units: About 21,000.

July 10, 2019 CPSC; Universal Security Instruments recalls its battery-powered smoke and fire alarms because the alarms can have a misaligned internal switch, causing the alarms to not activate properly and posing a risk of failure to alert consumers to a fire. Units: About 180,000.

July 10, 2019 CPSC; Office Depot recalls its Realspace Magellan Performance Electric Height-Adjustable Desks because the desk’s control box has an electrical issue resulting in reverse polarity, which could pose a shock hazard. Units: About 19,000.

July 9, 2019 CPSC; Swaddle Bee recalls its Loviebee children’s security blankets because the blanket’s snaps can detach, posing a choking hazard. Units: About 700.

July 8, 2019 CPSC; Disney recalls the Forky 11” Plush Toys because the “googly” plastic eyes on the toy can detach, posing a choking hazard to young children. Units: About 80,000 (650 sold in Canada).

July 3, 2019 CPSC; Nature’s Truth recalls its Wintergreen Essential Oil because the bottles are not child-resistant as required by the Poison Prevention Packaging Act, posing a poisoning risk if the contents are swallowed by small children. Units: About 22,100.

July 3, 2019 CPSC; Just Love Fashion recalls its Children’s Pajama Pants because the they fail to meet the flammability standard for children’s sleepwear, posing a risk of burn injury to children. Units: About 1,400.

July 3, 2019 CPSC; The Company Store recalls its girl’s pajama sets because they fail to meet the flammability standard for children’s sleepwear, posing a risk of burn injury to children. Units: About 2,500.

July 2, 2019 CPSC; SRAM recalls its RockShox Lyrik and RockShox Yari front suspension forks because the fork’s lower leg assembly can break and cause the rider to lose control, posing crash and injury hazards. Units: About 840 (80 sold in Canada).

July 2, 2019 CPSC; Faraday Bicycles recalls its Porteur, Porteur S, Cortland and Cortland S electric bicycles because the seat post on the cycle can break, posing a fall hazard to the rider. Units: About 4,450.
