Ms. Gale is out in the morning at 7:45 rain or shine. Cold or Heat. She's got her umbrella as she helps kids cross the street. While she is not working on assigned duties she volunteers her time (unpaid!) in the classrooms reading to kindergartners.
Also, throughout the year she buys stickers and puts packs of stickers in teacher's mailboxes. For Christmas, she bought each of my student's a coloring book, pencil and eraser from The Dollar Tree. She's just super-d-duper wonderful crossing guard!
Mr. Brown not only loves our kids, he supports deaf camp, the humane shelter and Miracle Tree for kids at Christmas. Mr. Brown hands out treats on the last day of school and loves to dress up for any holiday!
Mr. Brown is an integral part of our community and we are proud to have him! Mr. Brown doesn't know a stranger and always has a smile and a wave for anyone.
Mr. Niederklopfer has been with Edmunds Elementary School for 9 years, or longer. He is a dedicated and committed crossing guard. I don't believe he has ever missed a day in the four years I have worked with him.
As you go down that wish list, make sure you know what toy recalls have been made in 2017.
Mr. Sutton is the crossing guard at Sun Valley Middle School. He has worked as the crossing guard at this location for approximately 15 years. Mr. Sutton directs traffic and assists pedestrians who walk across Wesley Chapel Stouts Road. When drivers and pedestrians come in contact with Mr. Sutton he brightens their day. Mr. Sutton takes his position as crossing guard seriously, but always completes the job with a smile on his face.
This cross guard is always helping others and puts a smile on his face. He always does more than he is expected of him and never complains.
Mrs.Hosbach is a crossing guard at Cliffside Park High School, I've had the opportunity not only to observe her when driving to school but also through my school’s participation in State Farm Insurance and Hackensack University Medical Centers Traffic Safety Challenge promoting safe driving and seat belt usage.
He is 'always' friendly, kind, warm, and polite to everyone, not only to pedestrians but also to drivers. He helps us start and end our schools safe as well as pleasant at the crossing by greetings.
He has been working so hard for many, many years at the same place and is scarcely absent from his crossing duty. Most of all, he loves what he does as a crossing guard!
Mrs. Davis is an exemplary person! She is not just a crossing guard, but a supervisor. Technically she shouldn't even be going to help with the crossing station but due to staffing issues with crossing guards, she is regularly covering different areas. Mrs. Davis has phenomenal skills when dealing with kids.
