Union Pacific Railroad

Union Pacific Railroad and Safe Kids came together with a mutual goal: reduce risky behaviors that lead to rail-related incidents.

Safe Kids Worldwide and Union Pacific Railroad share a commitment to making communities safer for children and families across the United States. Our partnership with Union Pacific creates an evidenced-based educational rail safety program paired with an awareness campaign geared towards parents, caregivers and children. The three-year program leverages national and local partnerships to educate and bring awareness to safe pedestrian and driver behavior around railroad tracks with the ultimate goal of eliminating rail-related injuries and deaths.

For more than 155 years, Union Pacific has served as an economic engine, improving the lives of millions across the United States. The Community Ties Giving Program builds on that foundation, funding programs to support safe, prosperous and vibrant communities where our employees live and work.
