CHILDREN'S PRODUCT RECALLS - June 2021

This recall report includes multiple lines of children’s sleepwear which fail to meet flammability standards and a stroller accessory posing a fall hazard.

June 30, 2021 CPSC; Booph recalled its children’s nightgowns because they fail to meet flammability standards for children’s sleepwear, posing a risk of burn injuries to children. Units: About 4,900.

June 30, 2021 CPSC; UPPAbaby recalled its UPPAbaby adapters included with the company’s RumbleSeats because the adapters can detach, posing a fall hazard to the child in the RumbleSeat. Units: About 86,000.

June 30, 2021 CPSC; SIORO recalled its children’s robes because they fail to meet flammability standards for children’s sleepwear, posing a risk of burn injuries to children. Units: About 950.

June 30, 2021 CPSC; Auranso Official recalled its children’s nightgowns because they fail to meet flammability standards for children’s sleepwear, posing a risk of burn injuries to children. Units: About 8,000.

June 24, 2021 CPSC; La Paloma recalled its Girls’ Nightgowns because they fail to meet flammability standards for children’s sleepwear, posing a risk of burn injuries to children. Units: About 70.

June 24, 2021 CPSC; Gramr recalled its Brushed Gold Tea Kettles because they can expel hot water and/or excessive steam during use, posing a burn hazard. Units: About 92,135 (an additional 12,865 sold in Canada).

June 24, 2021 CPSC; Plant Guru recalled multiple essential oil products because their packaging is not child-resistant as required by the Poison Prevention Packaging Act, posing a poisoning risk to young children. Units: About 25,600.

June 16, 2021 CPSC; Cove Appliance recalled two models of its 24-inch built-in dishwashers because their heating element can fail to properly shut off and can overheat, posing a fire hazard. Units: About 42,000.

June 10, 2021 CPSC; Blue Star Trading recalled its Children’s Barhee Fishing Hero toy game because the metal rollers on the bottom of its flying dinosaur contain levels of lead that exceed the federal lead content ban, posing a risk of adverse health issues to children. Units: About 300.

June 9, 2021 CPSC; CamelBak recalled its CamelBak Podium and Peak Fitness water bottles because a small silicone valve in caps sold with the Podium and Peak Fitness water bottle can come loose and detach, posing a choking hazard. Units: About 46,000 (an additional ~13,000 sold in Canada).

June 3, 2021 CPSC; Fisher-Price recalled its 4-in-1 Rock ‘n Glide Soothers and 2-in-1 Soothe ‘n Play Glider because infants placed unrestrained in the product and later found on their stomach are at risk of suffocation. Units: About 175,000 (an additional 52,000 sold in Canada).
