The Safe Kids’ recall center is a unique place where parents and caregivers can go to stay up to date on recalls of all child-related products. This report includes drawer chests posing tip-over and entrapment hazards, as well as baby clothing with snaps that pose a choking hazard.

November 12, 2021 CPSC; Hanna Andersson recalled its Baby Ruffle Rompers because their snaps can detach, posing a choking hazard to young children. Units: About 3,200 (an additional 10 sold in Canada).

November 12, 2021 CPSC; Hanna Andersson recalled its Baby Long Sleeve Wiggle Sets because their snaps can detach, posing a choking hazard to young children. Units: About 4,400 (an additional 10 sold in Canada).

November 12, 2021 CPSC; VidaXL recalled its VidaXL Steel Pool Ladders for above-ground pools because their steps can loosen during use, posing fall and drowning hazards to the user. Units: About 3,200.

November 10, 2021 CPSC; ABUS recalled its Youth Helmets because they do not comply with the U.S. CPSC federal safety standard for bicycle helmets, posing a risk of head injuries. Units: About 790.

November 4, 2021 CPSC; Backyard Play Systems recalled its Playsets with Wooden Roof because the parts used to create a decorative gable design on the roof can pose an entrapment hazard to children. Units: 5,100 (an additional 200 units sold in Canada).

November 4, 2021 CPSC; Kubota recalled its RTV-X1100C Model Utility Vehicles because their floor mats can warp or degrade and interfere with the throttle pedal, posing crash and injury hazards. Units: About 48,845.

November 3, 2021 CPSC; Usines Giant Factories recalled its Gas Water Heaters because their Emerson control valves can fail to close properly, causing soot to accumulate on the burner and posing a risk of carbon monoxide poisoning to consumers. Units: About 168 (an additional 10,832 sold in Canada).

November 2, 2021 CPSC; Walmart recalled its Better Homes and Gardens Essential Oil Infused Aromatherapy Room Spray with Gemstones because of contamination by Burkholderia pseudomallei, which can cause melioidosis, a condition that is difficult to diagnose and can be fatal. Units: About 3,900.

October 28, 2021 CPSC; Design Within Reach recalled its Arc Collection Furniture because their surface paint contains levels of lead that exceed the federal lead paint ban, posing a risk of lead poisoning and adverse health effects to children if ingested. Units: About 200

October 27, 2021 CPSC; Meridian Furniture recalled its Ottomans because the metal band at their base can contain sharp edges, posing a laceration hazard. Units: About 7,800.

October 27, 2021 CPSC; Magnussen Home recalled its Nova Series 5-Drawer Chests because they are unstable if not anchored to a wall, posing tip-over and entrapment hazards that can result in death or serious injuries to children. Units: About 13,200 (an additional 2,520 sold in Canada).

October 27, 2021 CPSC; MyCharge recalled multiple models of its Powerbanks because their lithium-ion batteries can overheat and ignite, posing fire and burn hazards. Units: About 67,000.

October 27, 2021 CPSC; Liberty Hardware recalled its Glass Cabinet Knobs because their glass stem can break during use, posing a laceration hazard. Units: About 38,000.

October 21, 2021 CPSC; Lighthouse recalled its LED Projectors because their fan can malfunction and overheat, posing a fire hazard. Units: About 1,600.

October 13, 2021 CPSC; Specialized Bicycle Components recalled its Tarmac SL7 Bicycles and Framesets because the bicycle’s fork steerer tube can crack or break after harsh impact such as hitting a deep pothole or other stress event, posing fall and injury hazards to riders. Units: About 6,900.
