Injured teen illustrates the need for concussion safety

This month the Brain Injury Association of America will mark Brain Injury Awareness Month. Each year 2.4 million Americans sustain brain injuries including 564,0001 children. About 75% of Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBIs) that occur each year are concussions or other forms of mild traumatic brain injury (MTBI)2.

Slips, falls and tumbles are a normal part of being a kid, but there are several things that you can do protect them from more serious injuries like concussions and TBIs.
