New Videos from Brazil: Keep Kids Safe, Make Parents Smile

One of the things that inspires me to find creative and fun ways to keep kids safe every day is knowing that there’s a whole world of people working together to do the exact same thing. Once you see these videos created by our fabulous partners in Brazil, you’ll know what I mean.

I first saw the videos during our recent Safe Kids Global Network meeting. As soon as Alessandra Françoia,the Executive Director of Safe Kids Brazil, presented the videos, there was an exciting buzz in the room and I knew parents in the United States would appreciate them as well.

I’ve had the privilege of meeting Alessandra several times in my two-and-a-half years with Safe Kids. Her passion for children’s safety is truly inspiring. It’s because of Alessandra that these videos were created in the first place. She ran into a former colleague on the street, started talking about her work and the next thing you know, her colleague’s agency is creating the videos for free.

The videos are now featured on You Tube and have been sent to numerous broadcast outlets, including international channels, Sony and AXN. They’re funny. They’re creative. And they even have subtitles. So enjoy, and if you like them as much as I do, please share.
