Steve O’Toole is a member of Safe Kids’ Board of Directors and worked for more than three decades at General Motors where his focus was on safety. He is the proud father of two daughters and grandfather of two boys, 4 and 9.
Suzanne Johnson played soccer for Winston Churchill High School, various travel teams, as well as the Maryland State Olympic Development Program. She is currently a junior studying International Business at the University of South Carolina. Although her competitive soccer days are over, Suzanne enjoys playing intramural sports with friends.
Torine Brooks Creppy leads Safe Kids Worldwide (SKW) by developing and implementing strategic plans to help communities and jurisdictions around the world create safer environments for their children. With extensive experience in non-profit management and program development, Ms. Creppy oversees a variety of SKW’s essential functions — including strategic planning and decision-making, budgeting, and program development, implementation and evaluation.
Wes has more than 25 years of educational experience, including 15 years at the University of Maryland teaching and coordinating EMS and injury prevention. He also has years of event/exhibit management experience, which makes him perfect for his job as a liaison to program partners, coordinating Safe Kids presence and messaging at national events and conferences. Based in the Los Angeles area, Wes is frequently called upon by Hollywood celebrities to assist with their child safety needs and concerns. “I love being part of the team that will make child safety a cause.”

Wyatt provides desktop support for Safe Kids employees, ensures compliance with technology advances and assists with the intranet. Before working at Safe Kids, he worked at NACCRRA as a Windows system administrator, KEI Pearson as a network system administrator and Grand Hyatt as an assistant management information system manager
Zhong (John) is a graduate of State University of New York at Albany, where he earned an MA degree in Health Communication. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Anhui University, P. R. China. He is interested in behavioral intervention, ICT4D, social dynamics, and program evaluation.
